The second-hand marketplace Users Express Frustration Regarding Sizing Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has revised its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are posting online stating that platform listings now display a different size category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
It has advised users to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Updates
Before the change, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: previously, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
